Atlantis covered with water
Scientists consider that some inhabitants of Atlantis managed to survive in the terrible catastrophe and to get to the shores of Europe and America. And they also think that they taught people of these territories and developed their civilizations.
People even consider that Atlases are pictured on the walls of the destroyed cities in Peru. The proof of Atlantis existence is considered to be the ruins of ancient cities in the jungles of the Yucatan and in the Andes.
In autumn of 1970 researchers investigating the Atlantic Ocean discovered the remains of some kind of buildings on the ocean flour. Divers saw the walls with the length of several hundreds meters built of the great blocks that had 25 tonnes each and everything was covered with the meters of water. So, who could build them? Maybe Atlases could. But later scientists proved that these formations were the result of the mountains destruction in this region that got under the water in the result of gradual Bahamas sinking. People are also looking for Atlantis in the Mediterranean Sea. There is the theory according to which the great civilization also covered the Crete Island and many other Greek islands.
Another very interesting fact is the outlines of Africa and South America. They look like the elements of the same puzzle where the continents are the parts of the puzzle. So scientists say that in the result of geological processes Africa was divided from America and in the result of such process Atlantis died being situated somewhere in the middle.
