Atlantis always provoked interest not only in investigators and explorers but also in directors and writers that saw an interesting plot in the mystery of Atlantis. In such way Atlantis and its story was the famous plot of many books that were not referred to the science fiction.
The death of Atlantis was described in the fantastic French works of the painters of the baroque epoch.

In 10-20s of the past century the hypothesis of Atlantis as the birth of the human culture became the fashionable and was reflected in the world of the poets and writers that wrote about Atlantis as the base of all Ancient civilizations.
Alexey Tolstoy (the Russian author) also tries to guess the mystery of Atlantis proposing the hypothesis of the Atlantic prehistory of the humanity. In the roman the Martians say that the race of Atlases was divided into seven peoples. The centre of Atlantes was the city of seven gates that were built by the Africans. Then the ruling of the Atlantis was conquered by the redskins. Later they were changed by the sons of Adam that built the underground temple of the sleeping Hydra head. They built pyramids and worshiped the sun. Mongols conquered the sons of Adam that built Seven Wonders of the World. And in the result Atlantis sank in the water 20 thousand years ago in the result of the terrible earthquake but the part of Atlases survived and colonised Mars.
