Why it died?
According to data Atlantis was well-developed civilization that was the most developed in the world at that time. But then why and how they died if not so developed civilizations managed to survive and nowadays are prosperous countries.

According to other theories Atlantis was damaged by the great waves that appeared in the result of the moon fall into the gravity field of Earth.
But the truest theory from the geological point of view is the version according to which the deep tectonic processes and collisions of the continental plates provoked the earthquake and it provoked the tsunami that killed civilization.
